An overdue reflection that I am sharing now. I could never get tired of praising God for who He is and His faithfulness in accomplishing all in my life and in the lives of many others. In my last blog, I lamented and wrote a blessing. And then, I had to hide in Christ by engaging in praise. Just as in praying which is like breathing, praising God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit should be a natural act and part of life. The heart of praise and worship can only succeed in an overflow of joy. Therein lies our greatest strength and confidence in and of Christ. We are able to climb the highest mountains, dive into the deepest sea and bash through the thickest jungle. Indeed, the overcoming spirit is a spirit of praise. Let us welcome and embrace the Holy Spirit of Praise. Praising God inevitably moves us into an intensity of intercession for the nations and others. Have you experienced this?
Lately, it has been many prayers of deliverance for the nations. I am reminded of the prophet Jeremiah's prayer:
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise. (Jeremiah 17:14)
May the nations be delivered from sin and shame and be blessed with the salvation and splendour of God in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
blessings of God's grace,
Rachel R
